<font size="6">Basic Klik-Goodies</font>

Lo everyone! I'm going to type a short, article for klik-newbies on some fun, usefull
and basic things like using Values and speeding up your objects and stuff like that!
I hope this will be usefull, lets get started...

Speed, values & objects:

ImageYou probably already know
the pre-made moving engines only make your objects go 100 speed! Some of this can
be changed with values. You can use values to posision objects. Positioning a object
every once in a while makes it move! You can do lots of fun things like this. One of
them is speeding up your objects. This is fun and very easy! First just create a path
movement. Then go to your event editor and select the following things:

[ Always ] Set X or Y of (object) to X or Y of (object) + or - <number>

You can create higher or lower numbers depending on the speed you like to create.
The only way to get it perfect is testing it with most numbers. X makes horizontal
movements and Y makes Vertical movements. This will depend on the direction you want
your object to go in. If you want it to go diagonally, just make it go both X and Y.

Now I'm going to tell you guys a little bit about slowing down and increasing speeds.
As you know now already you can create a speed with Values. Another thing you can do
with values is add and substract. This way you can make values go from 20 to 0 by
making it decrease when it's a certain value:

[ Value A = greater than 0 ] Substract from Value 1

This you can use with speeds again. An example is:

[ uppon pressing Shift ] Set Value A of (object) to 20
[ Value A = greater than 0 ] Substract 1 from Value A +
Set X of (object) to X of (object) + Value A / 2

Just create these lines in your Event Editor and see what happens. This is just one
of the many possibilities of Values. If you want these lines above to make your
object slow down in more directions that 8, just make the object a bouncing ball and
switch the positioning to the speed of the object itself...

This was my very short, basic containing stuff, klik-newbie only article!
