Abit more...

Well my main concern is if I'm going to get this done by June 30th or what, but I don't want to add another level until I have all of the animations done, and the AI programmed. I added fire trails to the slashing animations, however this doesn't include the "Giant shuriken of ouchdom".

I AM getting very close to finishing al of the animations, but I still need to program AI.

Joy.

I've also added a screen shaker widget so now the game is abit more intense. It's fits in very well, but it really screws up the parallaxing, and I have no idea why it happened or how to fix it.

If you want to shake the screen with out the use of that extension then create an object and make it act as a camera. Then when something needs to shake the screen, make the object move in a small pattern. I dunno if I make sense, but its how I do it. =P

Use this tutorial to shake the screen: http://click.andersriggelsen.dk/examplefiles.php

Its the third one on the page. It works perfectly because it uses the "window object" and counters. It's used in my game and it DOESN'T mess up my parallax scrolling

Well I'm using the System Background box for parallaxing. It was still choppy when I removed the widget, so I'm not sure what's wrong.

why not use layers?

I haven't actually used them before but I might try one of these days.

Oh btw, the screen shaker isn't an extension, it's a widget.

Yea I sometimes get laggy parallax using the System Background whatever box. I don't know why it happens but it does. Might start using layers for new frames though... But I'm already using 6 before parallax
I'm sure theres a fix. they didn't lag in Sam after all.

Darn, I'll have to put more than just random guessing into this it seems.
