So the full complete game of this is on the new issue of Klikdisc, But I also wanted to do a flash version of the game.

I want to see if everyone will experience the same bug I am, and that is during battles that sometimes it skips and then collisions stop working and then nothing. So give it a go, if you find the bug let me know what happened if you don't ENJOY THE GAME!

Seems pretty good, but...

I found quite a few bugs:

* Sometimes when the enemy launch an attack, they fly towards your planet, but instead of "hyperspacing", they just keep going straight on and fly off the edge of the screen
* Quite often, one or both sides will freeze during the battle.
* At the end of a battle, the survivors almost never "hyperspace", and instead just stop when they reach the edge of the screen.
* Menu items aren't properly disabled when you pick one - which can lead to weird effects, like both fleets containing 0 ships.

There are also a few other things that aren't bugs, but which could still be improved IMO:

I think planets should be linked, such that you can only attack (and be attacked from) nearby planets, and not those on the other side of the galaxy. This would add an element of strategy, as some planets would become vital as points from which to launch an attack (think the island of Midway, during WW2).

Also, I think larger planets should allow you to build ships more quickly - again, making some planets more valuable than others.
I couldn't tell if it's possible to ferry ships between your own planets, as the game kept crashing so often, but it certainly should be.

To be honest, I'm not totally convinced the battle system is going to work - if you got to see the enemy's formation etc before choosing yours, then maybe, but you can't really use any strategy when you don't know what you're up against.
Also, it reminds me a lot of a little puzzle game I once played, where you had to arrange your ships into the right formation to destroy all the oncoming enemies.

Thanks for confirming the bugs, its definitely a flash related, as the win 32 executable does not have the same issue, I like your suggestions, I probably won't connect the planets, But I do agree with the rest and will implement it in the future, Thanks!
