Project Overview
This video game is the first serious video game I have worked on in about 8 years! It's been a long time but I've discovered that this type of work is well suited for who I am. So, here I am! Without further ado, this is the project I have embarked on.

The game will consist of multiple mini-games. What exactly all of those mini-games will be, I am not really sure of yet because I need to do more research about what's currently available. It is being designed with touch screen phones in mind, as this is going to be meant for the Android platform when the exporter arrives.

I do have some progress, which is that I have worked some on the first mini-game. It is inspired by a Japanese arcade game that I played a while back, in which you had to sort ingredients being flung at you in a specific order to make a certain food item, such as a cake in this case or maybe a hamburger, and you had to race against an AI and clock to get the most made. I'm hoping to make this a multiplayer game with wi-fi support, but we'll see! Anyways, here is a screen shot of the idea. Very WIP at this point!

Progress update

Things are moving along pretty nicely. Right now the first mini-game is coming together and all that's really left is polishing, and some AI. Right now the level lasts about 30 seconds and as time goes on it gets more and more difficult. The scoring will come down to how many cakes you made and how many ingredients you lost.

The AI will be the trickiest part as I have to design a two-player mode and also a two-player mode versus CPU. The CPU programming won't be easy but that's all right, I've figured out this much!

When the first mini-game is close to completion I will release a little beta version of it to get some feedback on the coding as well as the game itself. What better way to learn than to share your work with experts?

Anyway, stay tuned I will keep posting updates as more and more gets done.
