Pirates+rainbows vs buses... you should smooth off the rainbow bits so they don't look like blocks of rainbows.
Sweet star powers though, I guess I'll make you levels now.

Hey Andy... Stop destroying those upwards-throwing bombs when they go off the top of the screen, shouldn't it be just the bottom of the screen where they go poof?
Hmm I liked the way it was before, it adds a sense of mystery to the game. 'Who's taking my bombs? Is it arabs? OH NO LIL PIRATE ISLAND IS GOING TO BE TERRORATTACKED!!' DUN DUN DUN
I think this is a brilliant idea and you should implement it into the inevitable sequel.
