First of all, thanks to everyone who commented on the demo for the game. The critique I got for it is helping alot in shaping the next version.
The notable problems people had were that you can't duck, that it's to easy to die, and that the AI is stupid. I am currently in the progress of adressing these issues, with the current changes below:
- A new map more suited for tactical game play
- A regenerative health system. Simply go under cover, and wait for your health to recharge
- Smarter AI. Instead of running from one side of the map to the other, the AI now branch off to other paths, and can also assume tactical position behind walls.
So, that's the current changes in a nut-shell. I'm still working on the AI, because there are still some issues to iron out. But so far, the whole experience is running more fluidly and less frantically. Hopefully I can release an updated demo within the next week or so.
