Thanks. Nice to know that at least 2 people will play it

Thanks, guys, it's nice to read this, especially with me getting writer's, coder's and designer's block on this thing. Gives me the second wind I need to keep finishing this

Good Luck Muz. If you can make something decent out of this complex mess it'll be a miracle. Keep on trying though.
Does this look any better than when you submitted it in that contest?
Most people never see the potential in things that are as different as this .. just look at how they bashed the crap out of my games in the contest. I bet they didn't even understand how to look at the other levels within the frame in APF.
Doubt they even actually played the games ... they probably glanced at graphics and storyline, then glanced at the code to see how mutilated it looked. Superficial imbeciles! ... oh well, anyway, you're bound to create something out of this eventually dude, even if you have to start from scratch to do so.
I started work on a 2.5d platforming project recently and if it weren't for 2 bugs, I'd be finished with the movement code and started on the good stuff by now.
You might wanna consider tackling a less difficult project, maybe help me in the realm of 2.5d platforming instead?
Blood of the Ancient One, Seen only as Shadow, Faster than Lightning, Fierce as the Greatest Dragon, Nearly Invisible, Floating in a Dream, Entered through the Demon Door, Destroyer of Evil in a Realm with a Red Sky Scarred, Who could I be ?
Heh, it's far from what I submitted for that contest. Like comparing a seed to a tree Nah, don't think I'll work with 2.5D platforming again. Ask Peblo, though, he's great with it.

Kewl ... can't wait to see what it looks like now .. lemme know if and when you get a demo running.
It's a real good idea btw, but it'll be especially difficult if it's not 3d, because in 3d it'd be much simpler to code lopping off of limbs and special targeting and all that fancy stuff that I myself have always wanted to make aswell.
The one you made for that contest was good because of all the technical difficulty, but it didn't play so well.
I think that's only because 20 events is a harsh limitation for such a task. Since it's no longer limited, it's going to be exciting to see what you can really do, if there is to be a demo that is.
<warning: irrelevant rant ahead>
Everyone hated my games because MMF2 ate the midi music (which I did not realise at the time) and my graphics were terrible, plus I made a few stupid posts like defending some Russian nut, but even so my games should have ranked better than last place. If I would have changed the jump, added in nice graphics, and thrown in some music that works with MMF2, it could have easily been in the top 3 I bet ... I'll never know though because I only thought up the idea a few days before deadline (less than a week) spent a total of only 2 or 3 days working on it. As you can tell, it still irritates me ... bleh. How did that stupid black and white no graphics bounce a ball game beat anything? ... the judges were obviously drunk or high when they scored the games .. lol.
