I do see what you're saying and you have made some valid points but there are a few things that we may disagree on, I'm not sure so allow me to clarify.

I am not trying to say that the story is more important by any means. Gameplay always comes first. However, little things like is it a lever or key can completely alter the mood of a story. For example, the steam batteries from my story are about a foot long. If some small orb called a key has the same function, that kinda butchers the rest of the game.

That's why the story comes first chronologically. The little things can be worked in after if need be but for aesthetic choices like the lever/key scenario it would really be extra work. Also, if the story needs four characters to flow nicely, the question should be "how can four characters help the game", not "what should we have to butcher to make four characters work". If it does come to that, however, that's when we mess with the story.

All right. What we needed was concept art and such, but since I've halted story discussion, everyone please begin to work on this:

http://sites.google.com/site/jlambsoft/Home/games/leveltiles.gam

Download the file I've linked to and make some tilesets and backgrounds for the game. The file itself explains the rules of the process. You can make any style and environment, and the ones me and Neuro discuss as looking good will be used as the all around style.

Um, the reason I put it in a .gam file is so that anyone with TGF or higher can run it. Just try loading it up and you'll see.

Ok I got it to work. Just hadn't needed to open up a gam before.

Uhm...I will try to do what you asked in the email you sent me.
But what in the case that my works turned out to be the best?
Should i work for this game?
(Saying that because i haven't much free time, and i'm already carrying on my project, too)

If you win, you'll just be doing general art consultation, leading us in a good direction, sometimes contributing, sometimes critiquing.
