I loved the 2nd one, and always will. I used to spend afternoons playing FS2 with my little bro, and when we stayed at our cousins we used to play 3 players. Damn, this game is good. Can't wait for #3!
Yes...
In fact this is a kind of restriction on keyboards when too much keys are down.
And the commands of F-S2 have been thought for azerty keyboards :s
But in F-S3, you will be able to set your own commands.
But, if you want to try, in F-S2, some people play with Joy2Key, and play with 2 keyboard (with 1 USB)^^
Oh my God. I love Friendly Strike 2... and now there's a 3 in the works! Online play! Arena editor! Man, you've really outdone yourself. I can't wait for this! Hopefully the editor levels are supported on the online version too.
I don't really know if i have to enable the personal arenas to be played online :s ... it's could create a lot of trouble because i cannot check if arenas with same name are exactly the same. Actualy only the "official" arenas are playable online, but you're the first to talk about this choise, and i think yes it's a pity... so, i still think about.
Ah, it's okay, do what you have to do. I won't be heartbroken if you can't play user maps online. I can see what you mean about the filename problem. Perhaps some sort of numerical signature based on what was placed where could be generated and stored within the map file itself and you could check the signature instead of just the map name, but I'm not familiar with how you've done the level editor so I can't say how, and it might be a pain in the arse to code.
Maybe the best thing to do is just release map updates every now and then with the best user-submitted ones, etc. Either way I don't care if it can't be done, I'll just be happy to see Friendly Strike 3!

Oh my god! I loved friendly strike 2. I used to play it with my friends for hours. I'm really looking forward to Friendly Strike 3.
Cool, Never played your other games, but this is awesome! Can't Wait!
About multiplayer custom maps over the internet, you could easily compare them to see if their the same with a simple checksum, look at the quick hash extension, it'll do the trick!
Thanks UrbanMonk, but Quick Hash extension is for MMF2Dev only... and i've got the MMF2 not-dev)
I could do it if i create a signature of the arena, and compare it but, it's hard to add now, because i still coded the system of connection...
The creator of the party have to send the signature at players who join, and after, i've to check all the arena into the file of the player, because the path of the arena could be differente...
I'll try it, but i need a free day for that ^^
lol i love this game. its the main reason why im failing school. (i play this instead of writing essays!) one thing that would make you a god (at the moment you are a Demi-god) is a weapon editor. i love the editor though! -seriously a weapon editor would make it the best game ever!!!
-another thing i would like to see is, in the level editor it would be awesome if you could place any weapon on the map (i made a d-day map and i wanted to give axis mp-5s and give the allies M1 Garands..

if you are one of the 10% who still listen to real music paste this into your signature.
Thanks sunraider
A Demi-God? ^^ Be careful, i could believe it ^^
Honestly, i'm suprised by the succes of the editor ^^ there is still a lot of arena downloadable with the FS3 Arena Manager, so, i din't think about a weapons éditor... it's could be hard to do now :s
