Unga Bunga is a multiplayer platform/deathmatch highbrid for 1 to 3 players, in which the players run around as club-wielding cavemen in exotic habitats, kill moose and bears to gain technology (which allows them to use better weapons, including spears, traps, firesticks, coals, bow and arrow, sword), fend off invading philistines, and ultimately compete with eachother for various objectives (depending on the game type). All aspects of the game are fully customizable, and replay is practically unlimited. Oh, and did we mention that it's fun?

Don't worry, Asger, you didn't miss anything. First of all, I couldn't even play it because every time I picked a level, there was an error message, and the game shut down. And second, it's shareware?!??! I wont pay for game that doesn't even work, AND doesn't openly say that it is shareware untill you open te file and get to wait through the 3-minute "reading period" it gives you for the disclaimer.

The gfx are good but i dont think good enough to be sold. oh well.

The gfx are very good but the gameplay and the way the game works, unfortunately, isn't good enough to make the game sellable imho....

I once downloaded a beta version of this game, but never even got to play it since the installer didn't install it... Hmph.

Whoa there johny! Whoa! Okay, just like to defend myself a little: 1. I don't mean to "pull" anything on anybody by releasing the game as shareware. It's just kind of an experiment, ok? The nag screen only pops up once! And hey, if you don't like the game that much you won't play it past the expiration anyway! [sigh]. Sorry for screaming :) 2. The install program and the game should work fine: they've both been tested on many platforms etc. If they don't for some reason, I'd really like to remedy that--and it's not my fault. 3. I think the gameplay is actually quite good. Have you tried it multiplayer? That's where the meat is. You guys get the whole technology thing right? And please, I'm on your side: I just want to make and play good games--and I certainly don't want to pay for something I don't like. If anybody has any bug reports, or suggestions for the game I'd LOVE to hear them. And believe me, I'll incorporate them right away. Thank you for listening, Jordan P.S. As a last defense I'll quote Dereck Yu's (Blackeye software, duh) take on Unga Bunga: "Good job! I can't wait to see the next release."

7 mb for a platform game ? How do these guys get their games so big like many other in the category about 10 mb. Well going by the comments i am not going to download it.

Wow! This game totally rocks. There need to be more truly fun multiplayer games out there! This game reminds me of Tremor and Liero--only it has better replay, and cooler stuff (like the technology tree: awsome!). Should have more weapons and stuff, but overall really good. I couldn't stop playing with my friends! And to all you goons out there, the shareware thing is no sweat: it's got unlimited play, with no cut features.
