Okey-doke, this is quite obviously to the handheld's specs, but in case anyone missed, there you go.

But yeah, all you need to know is in the ZIP file. You play as this weird ninja-monkey-thief-type-thing (It was originally a guy with a stupid tail, but Codemonkey had an avatar) that is stealing money from big corporations for... A gihugic pile of bananas?

But yeah, steal some stuff for winnage. It's fun!

Also, WEIRD 80'S STYLED CONTEST ALERT

I've hidden references to three Click games in the game, one in each level. First one to find them and post their locations in the comments gets a cool trophy and 50 DC points from me yay.

This is a rather hard game

There is a reference to Knytt stories on the first level, but I'm tired of playing

Way. Too. Hard. It's not fun either, getting blown up by your mines even though you're way out of reach. It seems like it's a game of trial and error. It's very unfair. The screen's also very small and the music is MMF2 music, I believe.

I suggest making the screen area larger, starting off the game easier and making it less unfair in general.

This is way too hard. I couldn't get past the first 50 pixels...

Ok, the screen size is not something I can change, because the rules are that the screen is 160x144. You can press + to make it bigger, if it helps.

I can see your point about the game being unfair. I could pull all the guns out of the first area to ease the player into avoiding detection, if it helps.

And I can see the whole unfair thing, but this was designed like an old-school, rip-your-hair-out hard game. Maybe I could just not reset everything when the player is killed, or throw around some extra hits? I could also make the explosion particles fly out less, but then it might be hard to hit some of the guards in the later levels. Also, I might have forgotten to mention in the readme that you can double-tap left or right to run. (But to be honest, I've played Click games that are a lot harder, and people still love them, but I guess that's not really the point.)

I never made it past Level 1, but I actually found it pretty fun. I will say it is really hard, and a vast improvement that could be made, namely checkpoints, would definitely increase the enjoyability. I would suggest using Musagi to create some music instead of using MMF2's music library!

It's not a bad game Imo, it's just too hard and it's missing some vital features that could make it better.

Ok, I see what you're saying. I was gonna do some after I finished the game, but I didn't download Musagi before the internet went down. I'll see about all that.

Checkpoints would be hard to do, though, with all the stuff going on. I'll probably scatter extra hits around.

It was really annoying...

Btw, if you change the properties of the game file to set at 640x480 resolution, you can see it a little bigger

He can't change the resolution size, it's for the Console wars competition.

It's not especially hard, you just need to make mines more consistant. Needs a tutorial level - nobody reads readmes.

Posted by RedEnchilada 30th May, 2009

Yeah, I probably should. I was gonna, but never got around to it, so I might do it now that I have the time. I'll also see about the mines.

if they don't read the readme that's their own fault.

Cool game, but way too hard.

@ Andy: ... Well sure, but if you think like that you won't get many people to play your games.
