A Boney Night

Oh! Hello. Thanks for visiting the 90s retro corner. It's time for chunky pixels, dialogue above characters and obtuse item puzzles! We all love those. Right? RIGHT?! ...right.

The Story
There are times when a short, middle-aged lady has to do what she has to do. For example when a zombie apocalypse is happening. Undra the witch and Kijo the orc set out to stop evil and teach a kid a few lessons about stuff along the way - or not. Because kids these days. Really. Those jerks!

Gameplay
None. Adventure games like these do not have gameplay. Sorry!! Anyway. There are icons that stand for look, use and talk. There are interactive hotspots and an inventory. And dialogue options. Yep. That's it. Moving on.

TechTalkKorner
-The game was made with Gamemaker:Studio.
-The items and icons are pretty big because this also runs on android phones.
-The game runs at an ungodly low resolution of 300x200 pixels. Really big pixels! You better like pixels. Pixels!!
-The game has mp3 music made by me in Fruityloops. Hooray!
-It has like 14 rooms or so
-Stuff's really lo-fi (I'm a lo-fi kinda guy)
-The room backgrounds were made in photoshop
-The sprites were made in Multimedia Fusion Express

What else?
Er. Um. That's it, really. Have fun & thanks for playing!

Did you use AGS to make this? It seems like an AGS game.

EDIT: AH! Gamemaker.
Do you mind if I add it to my site?

Since it's an HTML 5 game I just put an iframe to your site.

Sure, go ahead! :3

Yeah, Gamemaker Studio. I wanted to make an adventure game framework in it. It seems to work for the most part, but the walking around may need some refining.

AGS is really cool, too! There's also Android and iOS ports now. Good stuff.

Did I mention that I love the music?
It feels like an old Sierra game. Love it!
