Hey, i was considering gettin jamagic. Has anyone had experience with this software? is it very hard? Would you say its as easy to get to know as MMF, i know the whole thing is totally different and they cant really be compared. I know manuals are available for it. Id love to know how to do 3d games, cheers

Jamagic isn't the best for 3D games, a simple 3D game with sprites could barely run for me, when things like Half Life 2 ran fine. Get something like Blitz3D or darkbasic.
Also, Jamagic is unfriendly.

Dark Basic is also prity solw, so make sure you get dark basic profesional (Much faster) if you do get DB.

um... okay im confused. I downloaded the demo of blitz, is it just the programming there though. Lets say, what would be the best for a begginer? thanks btw guys!

I downloaded jamagic and couldnt figure out what to do, i clicked on a few things for about half an hour and nothing happened. so i gave up.

you might try 3d Game studio, I've used it and it's basically C++ and a bunch of tools. Haven't really done much with it, but it's a good system.

If you are gonna get into 3d, i suggest getting into at least one common computer language like c++.
Do I smell doom in the air?
