Steve Zissou: Anne-Marie, do all the interns get Glocks?

Anne-Marie: No, they have to share one.

It's not letting me get past the registration screen without signing up, it found my old Keyhole 2 Lisc. sitting around, and now it's trying to charge me.

Welcome, frustrated would-be planet surfer.

We appreciate your interest in accessing 3D geospatial information, but due to the technical limitations of this beta launch, Google Earth has been forced to take a brief breather. Please check back with us soon.

Thanks,

The Google Earth Team

All I can say is 'Good', the images were streaming so slow yesterday. I'm sure google will throw some money at it and It'll be back in no time. I'm amazed that they are releasing it free!

I thought they censored over half of the country. Is the entire earth clear in this program?

Nothing is censored except for the white house roof, and the roofs in the immediate area.

Every bit of land on the earth has at least a 15 meter per pixel res. It gets up to .5 foot per pixel at the highest. Also new is the 3D buildings in 30+ cities. They have it in honolulu, so I'm happy.

My house is still an indiscernable part of a brown blob. Oh well.
