"Only one person can make the program, so you can't help anyone, sorry!"
I'm guessing that means no teams.

Brandon: The Zip itself needs to be 8MB or under. The contents inside can be bigger.
LIJI: Please take the time to read the actual competition page, all the information is there.
Vortex:If it's Bonus Pack extentions then don't bother including those.

"You must include all necessary files in the same folder as the application."
What about subfolders? Like, C:/unzipped/gametitle/extensions

Subfolders are perfectly acceptable, just as long as everything ends up in roughly the same "area" as the main .exe

As long as there aren't data files scattered all over the c:/ drive, you can do that Peblo.

So we need to submit both an open source file plus a compiled exe version in the zip then?

You know what? i'm going to go for it! I think i'll try something other than a platformer this time as i make too many of those anyway.
Maybe a point and click adventure or top down action rpg. it will be short anyway because i'm quite busy with other stuffs.
