So how does everyone feel about the traditional WASD movement? I am going to use it for a game but I then relized that some people may not have that format of keyboard. Anyone have a diffrent keyboard so I can code another set of keys for movment?

I like the arrow keys myself. Actually I prefer using a game controller. ACTUALLY I like being able to define whatever settings I like. I never really liked the WASD sceme much.

I never liked WASD until I realised just how much more comfortable it was when using a mouse at the same time. But if you can make the controls customisable (ControlX in MMF1.5, see Fifth's article about it) that's much better.

Yeh, make it customizable. I can help you with it once I get home.

I often do a left- and right-handed control scheme simultaneously. So WSAD has the same effect as the cursor keys, and something similar for the fire keys.

I have had no problems detecting keypresses with OpenGL... And i think that the OpenGL extension has custom functions for keypresses if there is any problems with MMF standard
