In my game I want the moon to be parallaxing in the back ground but it's in front of every thing else. THe moons on layer 2 and everything else is on layer 1. And also how can you make a layer visible or invisible in the event editor?
Set the moons layer behind all others and give it X and Y scrolling coeffeciencies of 1. Or 0.9 if you wan't to gradually move it.
I think you can make layers invisible in the event editor using the Layer extension. In HWA I think you can set a layers transparency but in normal MMF you can just make it visible/invisible (I think at least!).
That's pretty easy. All you do is add the layer object (looks yellowish-orange IIRC) to your frame and when the user clicks on the arrow button you make layer 1 invisible and layer 2 reappear.
Also you should remember that layers with lower numbers are behind layers with higher numbers. Keep experimenting because layers in MMF are a real GODSEND. I used to have a frame full of junk but after you move them to different layers you can then show / hide different ones while creating and it really helps sort it all out.
