Avatar Marketplace. That kinda sums up why Microsoft sucks for me. Pay to dress up an avatar? That's one of the worst ideas since paying people to play games online, or £50 for a wifi adapter! I bleh in Microsofts general direction.
Unless you earnt it ingame. In which case that's cool.

Although I agree with you, there are people out there willing to pay for clothes for their avatar. At the end of the day if Microsoft can make money by doing this, then they're going to do it. Which does suck.
At 80 points for the majority of all the clothes though, really people aren't spending money to buy the extra stuff, they're using up extra points that they didn't use when buying something.

That's why Microsoft use the whole points system - they make you think you're not spending anything, when actually you are

I guess thats not too bad. Earning them in games is pretty snazzy though or as a reward for achievements, I just hope they build upon this foundation.
I haven't played in awhile... but have multiple games that I've been meaning to continue: Ninja Gaiden 2, Bioshock, Resident Evil 5, etc. I've been slack in my slacking.
Don't you think it's a bit silly that your signature image takes up about 5 times the room of your actual comment? Would be better as a clickable link IMO.
You're jealous cause you don't have an Xbox 360 and thus is by default, can't be included in the fun.
Edit: Btw, this point system existed long before the avatars even existed, much less the avatar marketplace. I understand what you're saying, and I always thought it was stupid that you can't buy anything with a single point package that has the exact amount of points you want to buy, and the point packages are always just under 100 points you need. Don't get me wrong, I hate it for doing that, however the avatar marketplace was an interesting and rather entertaining method to smooth over the problem without screwing up with their devious plan to make a few extra bucks.
Id rather own a PS3 to be honest Ive never liked the xbox- from the word go I thought the original xbox looked cheap and nasty, and to this day the games still look somewhat unappealing to me. The only Xbox game I've been interested in is Viva Pinata, and even now I can buy it cheaply for my PC, or get the DS version
