AAAAARGH! I think you took the advice "Use descriptive headings" a little to literaly. I can help you with snake games though!
Snake games are easy. The code is very simple:
player pressed right - set snakehead.direction to right.
if player direction = right - create snake body at snake head.
+ every 0.10 secs - snakehead.x = snakehead.x + (snake head size here)
Then you just repeat that for all directions. This is for a 4 direction snake. I made an example of this a while ago, i would upload it but that wouldnt b any good because its MMF.

Huh?? Why do calculations???
Just make the head move using the mosue keys and do the following events:
* Every 00,02 create "Body" at 0,0 from "Head"
* Always add 1 to Alt Val A of "Body"
* If Alt Val A of "Body" > 10 then destroy "Body"
And change "10" to higher if you want the snake longer or lower if you want it shorter.
It's a much easier way and you can do loads of directions.

JonWog - This is for a snap to grid effect. And adding to the destroying, when you get an apple or whatever you are collecting add one to the alterable value and the tail gets longer.
