In A Man With A Monocle you follow the story of Henry McAllister, a noble turned traveler in order to discover the secrets of his mysterious monocle and his new friend, a soul trapped inside and his guide through this journey.
This game will feature, among other things, an interesting and unpredictable story, some challenging old-school platforming action, a truly absorbing soundtrack written by Johan Hargne and many different and interesting locations full of secrets and shortcuts.
Oh and by the way, TDC will get a big cut of the profits in order to help everyone's favourite site survive. 
The game is being written in C++ using SDL so that I can release the game for as many diferent platforms as possible. At the moment the game is planned for Windows, Linux and Mac but I might release ports for other platforms later.

The game has been released over a month ago, but I decided I'd drop some updates
A Man With a Monocle has just been released on GamersGate for 9.99€.
I'm curious to see how well it will do there, given I've never published a game in a major digital distribution portal like GamersGate.
On other news, the game has been receiving some pretty nice reviews, one from GamerGrounds:

It was also mentioned on some pretty reputable indie gaming sites and blogs, such as DIY Gamer among others.
As far as sales go, it's too soon to talk about that, but I will eventually, and also probably write an article about the experience of publishing a commercial game.
Well so far it's looking promising, let's see what the future holds

Well I've been receiving some feedback on the trailer, and a lot of people get the impression that the game looks like a rather generic platformer and in all honesty that's the idea I get after I watch it too, so we are working on a new one that hopefully does the game a bit more justice.
Also I'm setting the final price at 9.99$. There has been a lot of discussion on the price of indie games, and I think that it's fair to say that we are not only competing against other indie games, but mainstream as well with Steam and such, so we have to try to make the best deals we can, and the new price seems very reasonable to me and it was needed to fine tune everything before I actually start marketing the game.
