It's the first 3d game for TGF. It uses a new engine that includes 21 blocks for the 3d effect (last one has just 7), crouch, look up and down, strafe, a new hero and a map (for each level) 5 times greater than the last one. It's based on a mix of "Predator" and "Alien" and it's main design is of an action/shooter. I'm making this togheter with Zago of the VCGroup.
I add just a few more tech details that I'll modify each time we make changes:
Resolution: 640*480/ 32.000 colours / Full Screen.
Blocks: 25, 26*480 each.
Features: strafe, look up & down, crouch, arrow-keys movement.
Map: one map 640*480.
View System: third person & first person.
Enemy engine: still missing.
Floor shadows: still missing.
UPDATES: now the resolution is 640*480 (full screen thanks to "display properties"). This allows to make the game run faster, full screen, and with more blocks (from 21 to 25). Also, doing that, we reduced the x of the blocks to give a better 3d effect (from 32 width to 26). An important introduction is the possibilty to swing from the first person to the third person-view. We changed the main character to give him more animations. A first demo coming on one month.
