Hello guys, today i'm going to talk about the "Big Game Fever". It's big.. it's about games.. it's got fever.

What's the last time you made a game? Last week? i dont think so man, it's not last week. It's NEVER! you never made a game.

This article is focused on those people who arent capable on making a small game succesfuly. Let's face it, sometimes we aim too high, am i right? It happens to me! it happens to peblo, it happens to everyone all the time. When you try to make a game, you cant finish it because it's too complex.

The problem here is that we have a very vivid imagination. If you ever want to make a game by yourself, you have to let go your big game ideas, otherwise you are going to get some "BIG GAME FEVER".

Sometimes you start big from the start. You tell yourself "i can do it, madafaka!" and you CAN, trust me, you just WON'T.
Do you have math at school? Good! How many BIG cool games have been done in MMF? 25, i've counted them for real. And how many people are in this community that are willing to make a BIG mmf game? 8 million, it's been registered by clickteam. So what's the problem here? Y'all got "BIG GAME FEVER".

After 5 years of experience more or less all your hopes have been shattered, and you decide to start making smaller games now. You didn't listen to the old guys back then, and your pride is broken, you werent able to make a big game.

So what happens? You get "BIG GAME FEVER", only now you get it MID-PROCESS.
You get high on power, because since you are doing the right thing and you are starting simple, you realise you can actually do the things you want, and that's when the fever hits you. It hits you like metal gear solid for ps3 with a sniper gun.

So i guess what i'm trying to say here, dudes, don't get big game fever.

Plan your game! yeah, you gotta plan it ALL. Not just a general idea. Dont be on DENIAL all your life, plan it on paper so you'll see how hard it's going to be, only when you are finished you'll realise that it's not that easy to make big games.
Also stick to the plan, dont get high on power! Why dont do you want to make your game expandable so you can later use it for a molecule simulator? just focus on what you want to acomplish, is it pacman? make just pacman, dont do it so you can later use same code to make a mmorpg.

Anyway, i hope this helps those peoples who never made any games. Seriously.. what's up with that, if you worked for a living you'll realise 100 bux for MMF is a lot of money, dont waste your parents money.
