Well the klik world has gotten scarier and scarier ever since the destruction of Good Ol' Silky's. Most newbies dont have the experience that guys like Rikus or CraigJ or Jon Perry and Derek, etc. So what, as a newbie, are you supposed to do? Well the first thing your probably thinking is make a great great game get a lot of publicity and become rich and famous yeah! ((well exnay on the rich and famous)) But your wrong. 90% of newbies who show up and get ripped into all do the same thing. Example:
New Preview: The Ultimate Final Sword-Fighting Fantasy!!!
and whats disclosed in the preview
This is the best game ever, it will feature 500hours of playing time (more like 5 minutes) pure awesome graphixx (actually their ripped) and the best game experience ever (the only one that makes you want to shoot yourself afterwards).
Most oldies look at that and just spat. . . seriously. Even if this game came out it would feature whats in the parenthese not what is in the preview. So if ur a newbie and u wanna be as good as Rikus or Craig J. Well your probably not gonna but you can still make a name for yourself.
Or you can be like me and just play the games and fool around with engines and stuff.
This is how you get good. First join a company if you have too. There are a lot of companies who are looking for new members. Now im not sayin put an application for Blackeye of Vreal - Pigs have a better chance at flying. But if you join a company, hopefully you'll be natured and realized your skills and full potential. After a while youll come out with your fifth game. The other four were either unfinished or they were too small and crappy to place on the Daily Click. SO you put your fifth game out and it gets terrible reviews. But you dont quit, you just try harder. Believe me, by putting a game out on the shelves of DC, you already surpassed a lot of DC members who make like a 100 previews like the previous one and then realize they're not gonna finish the game and just waste DC's database. Hey you never know, you may come out with a lil diamond that will make you proud.
Just remember dont do it to be popular, do it for fun and yourself. . .
