well, after playing many many klik games i have noticed many things within each game which could easily help it achieve a higher level of satisfaction.

An Intro:
A game with an intro, such as Eternal Daughter, helps set the scene to the game and can easily help you want to play a game even more. They show things about the game and often help you get to grips with the games plot.

Menu System:
Another thing in games which is highly under-rated is the menu system. Players normally want to be able to easily get around a game and if you use keyboard controls for the game but mouse for the menu it letrs the menu down a bit more. Also if you take the time to find sutible colours for the menu it can give a more neutral feeling.

SFX and Music:
A game really needs good use of this as it helps the game really take a higher from of reality. If sound effects are used in the right places it does help, same goes for Music.

Game controls:
A game needs a simplicit, but good control system. If you just have 'P' for Pause instead of Control and 'P' it can help in the slightest ways. Beta test the control systems a lot.

Bugs:
Bugs in a game are often annoying and bring the quality right down. Play your game in various ways to iron out bugs as this all does help a game feel more, well professional.

Custom movements:
In many games the movements given by the program aren't good enough. If you take the time to either make your own or customise a downloaded engine, it helps. The movements given with TGF / MMF / K'n'P / C'n'C are full of bugs (well, a lot of them) and so that is another reason to make your own engines / movements.

Ideas:
If your stuck for ideas on a cool menu or how to do FMV just play gamesa. Any game can help you out in various ways and Natomic games are known for their 'Classiness'.

Well i hope some of this helps you, in anyway.
