Why poeple never finish games, and how to finish games.
Ever see a good preview of a game, but never see it again afterwards? This could be a result of laziness or lost in interest. I can say it myself that I never finish some games, or realease a demo and never work on it again. Try waking up early, and sleeping early, and you'll find it gets you energetic! This article is designed to help you personally get done with your great games!
I know it's hard going to bed early, but you have to think of the days ahead, and not 'get things done tonight.' Try incouraging yourself to goto sleep early, and waking up early the next day. This will not only help you personally be energetic, but also help you be sussessful in the future. Getting started on a project early is better then getting it done at night. Waking up early is the key to finishing your games!
Being lazy and loosing interest is one cause of incomplete games. Think of it as a school project or so: 'I must get it done before I get a bad rating!' Try pushing yourself to your limits as if you were in a office being supervised. Think of it as if you don't get your work done, you'll be fired. Turn on your lights, turn off the music, and sit up straight. Improving personally is improving your games.
One thing that may help a great deal is setting a deadline as your goal. You must finish it by that time, or you'll be a failure. Try setting work hours like 8:00AM-9:00AM and you'll find your games will be done much quicker, and neater. Take breaks on weekends, and take the time to work with effort on weekdays. This will lead to success, and great earnings!
So, it all concludes to one thing, improve your personal skills. Goto bed early, and waking up early will make you more energetic. Being pushed on to work on your games will give you a kick in the rear to work harder. Setting a deadline will be your short-term goal and setting work hours will get your games done faster. So try harder to improve personally, and I'm sure your games will be much better and done quicker!
