Being a Klikker, and being in the Klik Community are two different things. Being a Klikker means you create games (Pun intended ), being in the Community means you post at sites, not necessarily making games. This also means that we have standards now. People to have judge our games. I have been clicking for nearly 3 years now, and my first was with no access to the internet. That first year was my favourite. My skills (though meager compared to the big guns) have improved 10 fold since entering the community, but it's not as fun as it used to be. This is sad.

Con number too, surprisingly, relates to hostility. People are like Rampant Rhinos on heat around here. Far to quick to sink the claws in. Said perpetraters justify their actions by saying "I'm honest" or "It did suck!!". Now, for the last time....Say wwwwwhhhhyyyyyyy it sucked! Constructive criticism.
PS : Sorry to Nico, as I really laid into him about his Crazy part 1. Not as bad as most people but it was still mean. Sorry!

People who can't take criticism...even the constructive kind. If you get someone saying,
"Those Graphics aren't very good. It brings down the rest of the game. Please fix this for next time."
..or something to that effect, take it at face value. It was an attempt to help you, not hurt you. If your so sensitive then maybe next time you shouldn't submit crap! (No-one in particular is this aimed at )
If you submit something thats bad, expect criticism of both kinds. Ignore the senseless slander (Blizzard I'm looking at you ), and take the Constructive stuff to heart.

NEWBIES!!!! Just kidding. Actually it's more Expert members that are the trouble (See On heat Rhino statement above). Everyones conduct needs to be a bit nicer here. We all have to deal with mean people in the real world....can't we escape them anywhere?? To prevent some pointless flaming, lets set some ground rules for everyone.
*** Newbies to Kliking ***
Check the standard of games around here. Don't submit a game unless it has some lastability and half decent graphics at least.....
Nico's Krazy pt 1 should not have been submitted. Sorry. It's completed in literally 3 clicks and the graphics are primal at best.
*** Newbies to DC ***
Check the rules and FAQ before shooting your mouth off!
*** More Experienced Members ***
Give other people a chance. Don't immediately jump on them if they do something less than adequete. Also realise that the Expert rating, doesn't make you Gods gift to clicking...It's just text.
** Now we're over the fun part, now withthe boredom....The Pros...*sigh*

Friendly admins!
Daily Click, the recent Ministry of Klik and the deceased Iklik-it all had/have nice friendly administrators or moderators that give everyone a fair chance. Clickteam (no offence) has a much more strict atmosphere which makes it seem very cold there. Probably the reason why I rarely use the forum there (Sorry Tigerworks and other Clickteam Mods it's just the way I feel). It's not really the admins, more the rules. Theres no miscellaneous forum for general chat or anything.

The Klik Community does give us the chance to model our hard work to others. Unfortunately that is also part of Con #1. It has made it less enjoyable to make games. I think we need to make games for our enjoyment and if others like it, then thats a bonus. If we make games solely to impress others, it becomes like work - not a hobby. Until we get paid for this that is!

Gives us a chance to make friends all over the globe. Multiple pen pals. Most Klikkers are quite friendly (with a few exceptions) and it's great to either chat with them over MSN or in the Forum. Good on Us!!
Well thats my take on the Klik Community. Ultimately a pointless article but I hope people have learnt something.....Don't trust people with Bowler Hats...Baddddd news!!!
(sorry I had to get a bad joke in there somewhere )
