Hello everyone this is my first article, so it may not be really easy to understand but I'll do my best to make it understandable.
I learned this from a pc magazine some years ago maybe 3 or 4 and I wanted to post it here so everyone could make one.It looks like a exploding writing, but not really
Important: I'm making this on Adobe Photoshop 6.0 so I have no idea about the newer versions.
1)Select "File,New" and make the adjustment of the size of the logo, under "Contents" select the background color it will select black automaticly.
2)Later when you're done with the size and background, write in the middle anything you want(but I don't recommend something very long, maybe maximum 6-7 letters long). At the Layers selection click right with the mouse and select Render(Rasterize)layer. Then right click on it and select Merge Down. At the Layer window at the bottom left there will be one selection left. Click on this layer with the right mouse click and select Dublicate Layer and name it Layer1
3)When the Layer1 is chosen under Edit/Fill make these adjustments:
Contents, Use: White
Blending, Mode Multiply
Opacity: 100%
don't select preserve transparency.
Later Filter/Blur/Gausian Blur make Radius 2.0, so it will make the logo a little blurly effect. Later useFilter/Stylize/Solarize. then Image/Adjust(Adjustment) select Auto levels. Then click on Layer1 with the right mouse click then again select Dublicate Layer and name it Layer2
4)When Layer2 is selected Filter/Distort/Polar Cordinatesselect it. Under Options select Polar to Rectangular and press OK. Later underImage/Rotate Canvas select 90 CW so the picture will change position. Now, Image Adjust(adjustment)/Invert so it change the colors. Then do this 3 times Filter/Stylize/Wind it may take a bit long but be patient. Last but not least underImage/Adjustment select Auto Levels.
5)Later in a line, first Image/Adjustment, later do the
Filter/Stylize/Wind again 3 times. Image/Rotate Canvas select 90 CCW so it will look similar to the original size of the logo and color. Then select Filter/Distort/Polar Cordinates and when you select Rectangular to polar you'll see the image slowly show up. Now selectImage/Adjustment/Hue/Saturation make these adjustments:
Edit: Master
Hue: 45
Saturation: 100
Lightness: 0
select Colorize also. And press OK.
6)Last at least,at the Layers window at the bottom right of the window make either Fill or Opacity option %75 or similar range to make different styles of effect.
I hope this is good. If you haven't understood any part reply here.
Thanks for reading
See you all later
