I want to import smooth dome shapes (anti-alias) from PSP to MMF without any outlines... in other words the background of the object should be transparent with a smooth transition.

I'm using PSP to create a nice marble effect background. I then make a circular selection and apply a filter to create a dome shape. This object is effectively a playing piece and will be positioned on the background at various points throughout the game.

I have tried saving the object with a transparent background in PSP and then importing it in as an active object in MMF but it appears as a block (a dome on a white background). If I edit it in MMF's image editor to change the white background to transparent I end up with a white outline to the dome object.

I am aware that certain image formats don't support transparencies but I'm saving mine as PNG and GIF which should work. I really would like to use smooth domes rather than jaggies.

Does anyone know what I am talking about here?

Use the Alpha Channel object for MMF 1.5 (and save as PNG).
