Does anyone know any good ways of burning DVD's? At the moment I'm using this DVD Shrink program, It burns the DVD but it doesn't play properly it will either crash at the menu or somewhere in the middle of the movie. It is very frustrating I've wasted 12 DVDs and about 9 hours trying to get it to work. It just teases me by making me think its working then fucking up half way though the movie. Its definetly happening somewhere during the ripping or burning process because I've tested them on 3 DVD players and they all stuff up.

make sure your using minus (-) discs. + ones (co-invented by Sony, suprise) dont work with lots of DVD players. i use Nero for burning DVDs. works perfectly but there are thousands of burners out there.
ill find out which ones are best when i get home

They are the - ones. Nero can't rip protected DVDs though can it? Because... uh, my 'friend' asked me to ask you guys because he wants to do it.

i reccommend a combination of dvd shrink and the latest nero. also get dvd decrypter because dvd shrink cant always decrypt some dvds.

my friend reccommended me to try dvd express the other day but i havent got around to it.

DvdShrink is what I'm using. I have a funny feeling its the DVDs im using. They could be poor quality. Its the TDK brand. Anyway I'll try again tommorow maybe the burner was just being a jerk.

DVD Shrink works fine for me - it uses Nero to burn anyway. I'd also recommend DVD Decryptor if you're having problems trying to read the DVD (not burn).
