Its been over a week since i've started creating my game. A turn based strategy game with hotseat, and role playing aspects in single player mode. At this point I'm building the map editor. Here is the image:

Right!! hhm. As you can see the graphics have a long way to go. Which is why I need artists.

The palm tree's at the top are nicer looking than the ones bellow, its an illustration of how I kind of want the trees, buildings ect to be drawn. Maybe a little more textured. (Ignore the fact that trees closer are being overlapped by trees behind since I haven't put the x axis layer order in the engine yet)

The texture of the grass and medow is fine, I painted it . Because thats easy, ish. But if you could do better, let me know. Ignore the 'so called' beach and wood bridge as i haven't yet painted them. The water is ok but could be better.

So to wrap things up, I need some artists to draw isometric trees, buildings, collectables and partical effects. Some animated

I'm doing the game in a game maker software, and i have the sound and music covered.

But this isn't all. Its hard finding artists, but I need animators for the characters. The characters in the map are small, about 60 x 60 pixels. The characters in the combat scenes are bigger.

I need a few animators for the characters, anime style. Isometric view for the exploration above, and side view for combat.

The total of different heroes are 3 (These are the only ones that need walking animation in iso view)

Total of of units about 30 (Static iso view, full animated combat walking, attacking shooting and casting powers ect.)

Total of misc civilians few, not many frames needed. (Just for single player purposes)

Lastly, I need another person to do GUI. collectables and partical effects. Some animated

I'm poor. But its not right for me to ask of this without paying. I can only pay what i can afford.

UK - sterlin paid via paypal

For the artist, who does the textures and level props. £30

For the animator who does the characters, £30

GUI person, £15.

Its nothing, but thats all i've got. You will get half when your role is half done and the rest when its finnished. You will probably get more than this when its done if I really like your work.

You will get any further profit the game makes. You are bound to a contract to earn a percentage of any earnings.

I agree you don't need to pay unless you KNOW that this game is going to be succesfull/sell it, and if you know that, then don't go here, go to a better community that actually knows how to draw..

Maybe its just me, but it seems like almost all the posts in the solitare club asks for 'graphics artists'....

BTW, Allstars, 60x60 sprites are NOT small.

Willing to pay $56,60 (I cant find the Pound key) will only result in selling your games, and for higher than €20 (easier to use €).

£30 = $56.20 = RM 214.68 -> far more than I spend in 3 months.

Damn, filthy rich Europeans. I'm almost tempted to get that GUI person job. But then again, I did get RM 300 for tutoring my girlfriend. There's other ways to get money than entering an online contract .

I will help you with the artwork, and I don't need money either.
