Does anyone know why this can be happening? It's not appearing in the extension list. I just ordered MMF from tigerdirect.com, so I went and downloaded the MMF demo to try it out. I don't know why so much people complain about the interface of MMF, after 2 days I found it to be much easier and faster than TGF. Hope it comes soon

The whole time I spent with MMF was with Mode7, and trying to make a basic rpg battle engine. So far for my battle engine there's only one option: attack.. but, it's easier than I thought it would be, it'll be time consuming though. Plus, I gotta be organized... thats actually the hardest part. Since I didn't know where else to put it..

You guys can use it if you want, theres a max monster limit of 4, and character limit of 4. It randomly creates a party index between 1-4, then creates random monsters for them in the beginning.
I commented it so it should be understandable.

Up/down: select monsters
space: select command
enter: confirm(enemy choice select)
esc: go back

DMC2 won't work because you are using the demo (I am pretty sure). This engine is quite good, although I didn't look at the code. Maybe you could write an article on RPG battle engines?

You're not sure. I have the demo too and it works.

I didn't look at the code, but make sure you first init BASS before doing anything else with the object (only if you use module files).

Yeah and make sure BASS.dll is your Extensions folder, and best of having it in your Windows/System32 folder too.
I'm gonna check out your engine, it sounds cool.
