I am a noob to mmf, but I understand that I should make my own sprites and backrounds. But do you guys make your own music for games? How?

Theres a nice program known as FruityLoops Studio 5, its pretty cool. Search it up, it takes a while to get used to but I venture to say that once you do, you'll be making music in no time.

It's pretty easy to track down musicians. Duncan Fenn, Josh Welchel (sp?) and Circy all make midis and mods. If you ask them nicely they might make you something.

There's also this site where you can 'hire' an artist (for free, if your game is freeware): http://cgi.benskia.plus.com/index.php?page=welcome

I find that writing music for other people's games is difficult. I don't know why, but whenever I agree to do it I end up putting it off for months.
