I wanted to do an Algames webcomic thingy but i still havent thought up a decent idea for it yet.
Basically what would have happened in this is Buzz the squirrel and Tops the pig (along with other Algames characters noone has seen apart from me) would find themselves in Sonic the hedgehog's world and have to help them defeat Eggman/Robotnik With perhaps some cameos from other games.

they're not in colour because ive never used a pc to tart up any art before, also i'm lazy.

Cool. Out of complete curiosity, you didn't happen to be a fan of Sonic The Comic did you? (an old UK mag)
The dialogue feels a bit forced - like tails on page two, saying:
"I've never heard of that zone before. I tell you what though, I will phone knuckles and see if that is a zone on the floating island. I hope he has figured out how to use that mobile phone I gave him"
It may come across as more natural and relaxed to try something like:
"I've never heard of that zone before. I tell you what though - I'll phone knuckles and see if there's a 'Kylike Zone' up on the Floating Island. Hopefully he's figured how to use that cellphone I gave him..."

Very good! Continue on this.
It doesn't HAVE to be colored btw.

Very good, but buzz's tail in the last one looks very dodgy especially where it is
You should continue on this

Cool, i'm glad you all like it.
Ive now done some more. some other Algames characters are also in it.
I'm gonna redo the text so its easier to read and maybe some other stuff.
Hopefully i can't get it all up on an Algames webcomic website, but ive got to make it first.

I suggest a few of the following tips just to make it a bit better and pimp out the art more:
1) Make sure you've got unique characters in it too, not just from other things.
2) It may already have this, but get a nice deep, thick syrup-like plot that you can stir around a lot. Why have they suddenly appeared from other worlds? If you remember the Metalix story in Sonic The Comic, it may be a good idea to do something like that - where even the bad guys have to unite against a common enemy. That would be *really* cool.
Imagine, Robotnik reluctantly letting Sonic and co battle alongside waves of Badniks. It'd be so cool to see the badniks attacking something other than sonic for once.
3) Draw it in pencil (preferably blue pencil), then go over the lines with black pen (preferably a drawing pen, they're only like £2 and they do last a while. Not a biro). If you didn't use blue pencil, then rub out the pencil lines and scan it.
If you DID use blue pencil, just scan it in greyscale and the blue lines won't show up. Saves on lots of erasing.
This way you can save it as a greyscale gif and the lines will look smoother.
4) If you're not gonna colour it, try at least shading some bits of it with different forms of grey. This will make shapes stand out, and gives depth. Makes it a lot easier to see what's going on. If you've got paint shop pro, that should be good enough to do it with.

1) well there are going to be one or two Algames characters noone else but I have seen before in it.
2)I am actually making the plot up on the fly. Perhaps not a good idea but thats the way I keep myself interested. Some good idea's though what you've written.
3)I am doing what you suggest excpet normal pencil and not rubbing it out. I simply convert to black and white so only the pen shows up. Its not the best effect so i have erased the pencil now.
4)Laziness prevents me from adding anything more to it. Well i could.
thanks for the tips.

Ahh yes I remember Sonic the Comic. Came out in... 1991, I believe. My brother collected them, but I enjoyed reading them too (at least, until I got older).
I remember the 100th issue, I think Robotnik got captured or arrested, something like that.

You don't need to think of it exactly episode by episode, but a basic gist of what's happening could be useful.
Maybe a race of nasty creatures live deep in the ocean. Thousands of years ago there was a war between these ocean-dwellers and the land peoples. The land people managed to trick the Dark Lord in charge of the ocean-dwellers, and banished him to the void between worlds.
What they didn't realise was that in the thousands of years he spent in the void, not bound by time or other laws, he grew in power, knowledge and wisdom. Now his people have finally found a way to bring him back.
However, the ripples through the dimensional fabric transports creatures from various other worlds into Mobius as well - which is how all these other characters get into sonic's world.
Now that the Darklord is back in the seas, however, he begins formulating his plans of attack. Sonic and co must venture to the deepest, darkest regions of the world to find the technology to banish Darklord once again. Once they find it, mobius must unite in a world-wide-war of land vs sea.
You could have some of the following characters:
Good guys:
Grimer - Remember him? Ol' Robotnik's right-hand-man and technical genius sidekick. Well he's got to accompany sonic and the gang in their quest to find the machine to banish the Darklord.
Rufus and Wrack - A pair of badnik commanders, Rufus is short and stocky, and Wrack is tall and thin. They're both comical, but in fact as tough as nails.
The SBS (Special Badnik Service) - The elite yellow-tinged supersoldiers of Robotnik's army now fight alongside Sonic in their quest to save the world.
The usual gang - Amy, Tails, Knuckles and any other characters (possibly from the comic) that you may wanna include.
Mother - He's a strange guy is Mother. He's a badnik stormtrooper, like the others. But he's enormous, and instead of legs he has a large tank-like body with caterpillar tracks. It's inside this body that the SBS soldiers reside. They are deployed when necessary. The rest of the gang either ride in Mother's personnel compartment or sit on the outside.
I'll give you some tips on badguys later when I have more time. Anyways, thus far what do you think?
