The head is turned to the left, the upper body seems to be facing the viewer and the legs are at the same direction of the head (a bit). And why does Sarahs face look like one of a guy? Try to add some personality. Also, some shading would do. So, overal, try some personality to your sprites, so, different poses per character, different faces (not just hair and eye color changes, but completely redesigned faces). It's important that the viewer doesn't directly think 'it's just a sprite'. Even if you have a very simple sprite, if you add some personality to them, they can become really nice ones. There, is that constructive critisism?
