A few weeks ago I was fooling around with MMF 1.5 (I finally got it -_o!). I tried out the BGS Object, and at first, it worked great. Yesterday when I tried using it, the parrellex worked fine, but when you moved, the ground would vanish. Completely. I checked the code to see if the ground objects were pulled to the back, and everything seemed in order.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
P.S. I made a copy of Elf World so that I could add new effects to it, like Mode7. I added a mist effect. So now, when I tried to create a beta version, it says 'Mode7 not found'. I deleted the Mode7 effects, and it still gives me the same error. HELP!
Fine Garbage since 2003.
CURRENT PROJECT:
-Paying off a massive amount of debt in college loans.
-Working in television.

Have you deleted the mode7 object itself? If not, thats your problem.
The BGS bug was fixed in one of the later builds, I suggest updating to the most recent build

@Zane: I deleted the object itself.
@Phizzy: I'm pretty sure that everything's in place, but I'll check again, just in case.

For the parallaxing bug, get the latest build at the Clickteam website. In addition you might want to try and find the latest CNCS232.DLL
