I need some decent security on my computer, so long story short, what's a good, reliable firewall, anti-virus, and anti-spyware?

Windows XP SP2 Firewall is fine, don't listen to the people who say it's rubbish - it does exactly the same as Zone Alarm. If you don't have XP I'd say Zone Alarm is the best bet as you can get a free basic version. www.zonelabs.com For Anti Virus you'll want to go with AVG 7, which is free and great for what you get. www.grisoft.com . And for Spyware, AdAware comes highly recommended. www.lavasoftusa.com
ZoneAlarm is ok ... if they got around to fix that bug in their TCP/IP driver ... if the bug still exist expect problems if you try to run servers behind it.
Hmm... I dunno. I always thought every non-script kiddie knows a weakness in XP and Zone Alarm's firewall. Dunno if they changed some stuff. I feel like coding my own damn firewall
BTW, Norton sux

Abstinence is the only safe way. Condoms have millions of small holes that let viruses through. The lord only approves of sex between husband and wife.
Viruses is the lord's punishment for the unfaithful.
