I am curently working on some projects and am coming realy good.
BUT, i've been bumping into some insuccess.
In one of the games I would like to make it so that when a ball hits a player the ball backs off and stays for 2 seconds after starting to chase the player again. like some kind of timer. to make it stay back and after that time has passed something else happens. *just if you where curious, the ball I'm talking about is a bludger.
Another thing with that timer thingy is: I made grenades for a game and some of them are stiky grenades (like the ones from halo), now I wanted to know how to make it so that after it colliding and attatching to the target it starts some sort of timer that makes the grenade explode after like 3 seconds.
or if you want to give a more simple example:
I throw a grenade but don't want to make it explode on contact but yes after some seconds have passed after it has landed.
*whew*
HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME
Thanx

Profile edited as it messed the layout of the site up.
this can be accomplished really reliably if you have a spare alterable value.
Number of (object) > 0 --- Add one to Alterable Value
alterable value of (object) = (what ever, setting it to 50 gives you almost exaclty a second) --- Make your exploding/whatever event here
