Alright, I'm waaaaay over due with releasing Elf World (and sending it to my beta-testers), and the reason for this is that I can't open the storyboard window. The game has somewhere between 100 frames and 120 frames. Now whenever I go to click on the storyboard menu, the computer locks up. Is there a frame limit?

I'm using the latest MMF 1.5 build. Has anyone had this problem? Is it fixable?
Thanks,

well, it IS advised to stay away from such a high number of frames, as it increases the file size, along with decreasing the performance

Crystal Towers has 137 frames and I never had that problem with it at all... it sounds like it's a memory issue, but if you can still scroll between frames using the bar at the bottom of the screen, that makes that a bit unlikely.

Why do you need so many frames in the first place!?!?!?

Well, I have intermissions and stuff in between...plus extras. The game itself has 6 worlds with three levels and 1 boss in each world.

I don't know how people get so many frames, Buzz 2 is about 70 to 80% done and i have a total of 22 frames so far. But then only 3 frames are non level frames.

Wouldn't it be a hell of alot easier to just make a map maker? And sorry, I don't think I have a solution to your problem.

No problem, Andy.

I dunno, I might have to eliminate one level per world or something. Maybe I'll release an expansion for it.
