www.rubiesofeventide.com - A free MMORPG, has 4 servers, and quite a following. It's like a free EQ-like game.
www.gecko-games.com - Stellar Conflict, a free multiplayer online space shooter or sorts, no download (except for a java app)
www.planeshift.it - Another free MMORPG, with only one server, and many options not yet working, WARNING: There is going to be character wipe soonish, so you mught just try it to mess around for a while.
