Hi, just wondering if anybody could help me with this. Im not very familiar with mmf and although i've seen examples of this before i cant find them anywhere, thanks.

Try giving the spaceship a racecar movement. Then set its deceleration to 0. This would allow the ship to rotate and go forward at a constant speed.

At start of frame you set Alt. value a and Alt. value b of the spaceship to 0.0 so you can add floats to it.
When right is hold you add one to the direction of the spaceship, when left is hold you substract one.
Then you always set the x of the space ship to the x of the spaceship + alt. value a, and the y of the space ship to the y of the spaceship + alt. value b.

When up is hold you add the sin(direction of spaceship * 11.25) to alt. value a and add cos(direction of spaceship * 11.25) to alt. value b

destroyer, i did what you said and it isnt working, im probably doing something wrong, also i have to admit ive never used the alterable values before. anyone know where i can find some articles on this stuff? i need to actually follow them rather than get impatient and make shit games.

You've never used the general values before?

I think you should start with something simplifullier before trying something like this

hahahaha, yes yes, i know, shock!. i know i could learn easily ive just nevverr had the chance to, everything i learned about mmf and tgf and knp was just from screwing around with each, figuring out how they work. guess i havent done enough screwing around lol. and if you could send me an example that would be awsome destroyer, thanks.
