Thanks for the reply. I drew this character just for fun. The program in question is Corel Painter 7 - it's a commercial program, not very cheap.

Great pic, I love the shading!
My one critique may be that the parting of his hair seems a bit high on the forehead. Makes it look like his hairline's receeding.
The way the arms fall also looks a bit too muscular. I'm not sure, but I think they should be a little closer to the body. Bodybuilders tend to have that wider pose of the arms because the muscle below the arms pushes them out.
Other than that yeah, this is amazing! Better than I could do!

It's fine. Widow's peak hairlines like that are not uncommon.
