Greets.

I heard a couple of months ago that someone was developing a MMF compiler, that could make run games faster, smoother or however better than the exe compiled in standard mode would do.

I havent found any new searching in google.
Is the project dead? Does someone here know about anything?

Never heard of it I'm afraid. But I know MMF2 will probably have a slicker runtime, so best wait for that I think

to make it run faster surely they would have to recode the entire program?

I'm still waiting for a Vsync object.

I'm not sure it's even possible to make an MMF compiler. It's such a complex and difficult programming challenge on such a vast scale that I don't think anybody has the resources to do it. I doubt this project was even ever started.

AndyUK: By any chance are you referring to MMF's 'VSync' checkbox in Runtime properties...?

I meant an object because I didn't know there was a Vsync checkbox in MMF. I don't have MMF anyway.
Why do no games have Vsync? it would make game scroll so much smoother (in appearence of course)

Because MMF's locked at 50FPS, and no monitors run at 50Hz, turning on VSync usually locks the max FPS at 33. Quite a slow down.
