It seems all my objects go crazy whenever you scroll too far away from them. I tried changing their scrolling properties, but it doesnt seem to fix it.
First: my boulders fall through the ground if you scroll away too far.
Then: Well this part is hard to explain... here is my game (thus far, early developement): http://zupload.com/download.php?file=getfile&filepath=9143
There are little arrows on the ground, if you step on them earth shoots up. Works great, as long as you dont scroll too far to the right. If you do and come back, it screws up and makes earth shoot out from the last spot you stepped on... It's hard to explain. Just step on one or two in the first little area, scroll right, scroll back left and step on a new one and you will see what I mean.
Finally! There is a blue arrow all the way to the right and if you step on it, a lot of earth shoots from the ground. It's great... but then if you scroll back left, and then try going back right, for some reason it screws up the platform movement... AAAH!
Maybe someone has run into something simular?

Turn on 'handle background collisions even in invisible playfield' or whatever it's called, and make sure the 'inactivate' flag isn't set in your objects' memory options.

It worked for fixing the ground problem, but the boulders still fall through. I couldnt find what ratix was talking about ("handle background collisions even in invisible playfield")... I've played with the "inactive object if too fare from play feild" scrolling option, but the same thing happens when its checked or unchecked. Unchecking it fixed the ground triggers... the boulders still fall through, as if the ground stops being an obstacle.

Look in the frame options for the handle collisions thingy.
