PublicMediaViewer (PMV for short) works like one of those news screens you find in trams, metros or the like. Screen creation is very easy with the built-in screen editor, and properties like the amount of time the screen is showing are customizable too. Passwords and stuff for security will also be implemented. I will also make some online options ('download latest news / PMV version' options) too. And finally, an interactive help screen.

But, for the last few weeks (or months) I am looking for people to beta-test this system, and give me tips on what to improve or what to change. I haven't had much luck - Phredreeke and Joshua were supposed to test but they don't have many good ideas for the system - so I am asking for help here.

PM me if you are interested.
(You can also download the beta in the Klik Base station btw, just if you're curious but dont want to test.)

It lets you make news screens, which show information, and an optional image / movie (flash movie to be implemented). You know, like in those trams or metros (at least in my country... )
Two screenshots to make stuff clearer:

A screen showing. All the counters are there for testing (making the background color and counting when the next screen should be shown).

I've never seen a screen like that. But then again I've never been in a tram or metro.

Well, it's like a monitor, and it shows you the latest news, sometimes accompanied with images. There are sometimes (flash or not) movies showing on them, too, and those screens are pretty cool. So I am makig a similar app... Just need testers for it, for both tracking bugs and getting suggestions.

Anyone interested?

I already have a beta on my computer (from Klik Basestation) and I am good with applications, so I could test and/or give ideas, like you should let the user pause the timer if they really like something or they need more time to read it.

I'm wonderful at finding bugs, if I use it I try to fool it even if it's the final version too

Well, I'll accept you both for testing. I'll add you on MSN, too.
And Keaton, thanks for the tip.

@Milo: seeing as you are a member on Klik Base station too, I take you already have the app.

Well, two testers seems enough for me... I'm still open for other testers, though.
