Hi I'm looking for a coder or two to help me assemble a one-map demo for an RTS in MMF.
I'd like to have a working prototype before I go any further, if this can be accomplished then I may plan to take it farther. It will be done in pseudo-fantasy/future otherworldly style. The two main factions will be furry jungle warriors, (like my avatar) and amphibious soldiers, so far. That could change too. I also want to experiment with this, it will not be a WC clone, I want to try and add some unique features that will make it fun to play.

I myself am a spriter, here is some of the work I've done for what the game will look like asthetically, though the HUD will be overhauled and some graphics may be as well.

Thats some very impressive pixel art there, im sure youll have no trouble finding a coder. although RTS's are quite difficult to code though, you may want to also post this over at the Clickteam Forums if you havent already: www.clickteam.com/CTforum.
Good luck with it!

Thanks for the heads up, I would also like to add that I'm in the process of drafting a design doc for those that are interested.

The actual grid based movement isn't that hard due to the wonderful pathfinding extension. Look at some examples with it, it makes the movement alot easier.

Coders are usually looking for artists, but that will be hard to code. Good luck.

thinking is like pong, it's easy, but you miss sometimes.

I've heard its hard to code, but I've also heard that its the only one that can do it...maybe I should look at another program.

Personally, I'm not too fond of WC2. But I'm looking to make a rather unique RTS anyway, so I'll offer to help. Two conditions though: I get some credit and I get to use the engine in my game without being sued. Oh, and my final exam's gonna be in the next 3 weeks, so any help might have to be delayed for a bit
