Sorry, I meant the new Nintendo DS design. being launched in Japan soonish at £83. Its a third smaller and lighter, and the screens are brighter! Smashing aye?
Anyone noticed that Fils-Aime (however you spell it) was right in that the new look would be "Revolutionary"? I mean look at the D-Pad.
oh, and its called the DS Lite. But I suppose everyone knows all this by now.
indeed it is. My guess is that there will be a range of colours, matching the Revolution like. Just white is sorta in right now. I think we're still waiting for NoA and NoE to speak of their native release dates. Another one of my guesses is it will be launched side by side with the Revolution. perhaps?
But yea. it is beautiful! There goes the torrent of PSP lovers saying the DS was ugly. i mean this machine is right out of Apples HQ
There's not much difference, just like the GBA>SP>Micro its just a design update. It's released at the same price so this is likely to replace the current DS altogether. The Mic is in a more convenient place, the screens are much brighter, it has new "Micro" style stick out buttons, the power switch has moved, you can change the screens brightness, its smaller and lighter... and that's just what we've been told. May have better speakers? Longer battery life, the current DS's 10 hours is just not enough for a handheld machine.
Its a replacement, a new design, not a new machine.
OHHH i think its hell different, on the outside. They should have designed it like this in the first place! Yeah I just realised, it will match the revolution!
Another small improvement I heard off of Attack of the Show, it should have the added ability to adjust the brightness of the screens, and my best guess is to give better contrast to mutable games in different ambient room lighting.
