Did you follow the link, it was confirmed by Billy West on his own website, Fry's voice actor. Somehow I seriously doubt that he would mislead all the futurama fans that frequent his site. I don't think Fox will have the rights though, I recall hearing that Comedy Central had bought airing rights that should kick in in 2007. Which means no more Futurama on [adult swim], but I'm not sure if that includes first run episodes. Besides Futurama never did too well on Fox.
Craps, I'm an old man!

Yeah, that's what I meant about HL2 - Gabe Newell supposedly announced it had gone gold on a website, fans around the world went nuts, but it turned out his forum account had been hacked. I'm just saying it's not 100% confirmed yet.
"Futurama could follow in the footsteps of Family Guy and re-enter production more than two years after it was axed. The animated series, brainchild of Simpsons creator Matt Groening, ended after four produced seasons amid lackluster ratings and broken scheduling on broadcast network Fox." From the Reuters article: "Reps for 20th Century Fox have declined to comment on the news, but Variety says initial negotiations have begun. If revived, it's unclear exactly which network would air the new episodes. While Fox housed the original series, the show found new life once reruns began showing on the Cartoon Network. Comedy Central subsequently snapped up the off-air rights and will exclusively air the repeats beginning in 2008. "
Great news if you ask me. By time I finally got into Futurama through Adult Swim, it was already done making episodes, and I've seen almost, if not everyone of them already. Looking forward to this.
Yes, yes, Futurama is coming back, whoopiee....but look what they did to Family Guy! They f**cked it up by bringing it back. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen to Futurama.
Fine Garbage since 2003.
CURRENT PROJECT:
-Paying off a massive amount of debt in college loans.
-Working in television.
The new family guy episodes aren’t that bad, I remember hearing about the Futurama movies a while back, when it was just a large scale rumor. Personally though, I'd rather new episodes, rather then just a few movies. On the plus side, the movies will be allot longer, I always thought the Futurama episodes were a little short, even though they are the standard half an hour.
I just remember Monkey Island 5
they even got the guy who does the voice of Guybrush to record some voice clips that were never heard before to prove they were from a new Monkey game
of course it was all a hoax
I am not saying this one IS but its also the guy who does the voice of the main character
