I know I am doing the most Noob thing possible my titleing my post with caps, But this is major. I always save my game to a different name after each major change, however, this time I had made a critical error. I had a global object in each level and I had accidentaly deleted one of them. I made my game using TGF and it won't open anymore. However it opens in MMF. So what I am asking is if it is possible to convert MMF files, (.cca), to TGF, (.gam).?
He could be another stubborn Anti-MMF kliker. You know, the ones who are either to lazy to learn the new interface, or don’t have a PC stronge enough to handle all the windows without crashing every 11th click.
No, it's actually not. I am not a lazy git when it comes to "kliking", and my computers run all that crap fine. It's just MMF being a sucky piece of crap on the picture/animation part. I am also tired of certain guys who can't stand the fact some people still like to use TGF. They are on top of my buddylist, especially the ones that have nerdy names and those who are too lazy to spell right.
MMF's animation/picture editing facilities aren't the best, but I think it's worth trying to get past them as it's so much better in many other respects. And this is coming from someone who hated the MMF interface for literally years.
Refusing to use MMF entirely just because of its picture editor is just stupid IMO.
I use TGF for making most of the graphics, but I do all the coding in MMF. I feel that's the best solution to the problem. TGF2's picture/animation editor is okay, I guess. Not as good as the original TGF editor though.
