Is it possible?

I'm aware that ClickTeam doesn't sanction it in their system.

However, I've been playing around with adding the files manually.

How does the .gox file and the .mox file work? Where do I get the .mox of DPlay from?

I'm new here btw, hello all.

Email clickteam and ask for it (Remember to include some details, like when you bought it, and under what name, to what adress etc.). That's what I did, and I got it in less than 24 hours.

Yeah, I tried that actually...

No response.

What email did you send to?

I seem to have found a fake serial just now actually, time to reinstall I guess!

Any thoughts on the dplay problem btw?

I concur,

However I do own the software, I simply lack a valid serial.

I actually have a new question now... it seems my copy of MMF has an error when patching to 1.5 (build 119)?

CCtrans.dll is an unknown version apparently... Does anyone know what that's all about?

EDIT:

Ok, new information. I've obviously reinstalled with MMF, so I'm only at version 1.0 (build 87) and this patch for 1.5 (build 119) is for patching from 1.5 to 1.5 (b119)...

So, I need a way to patch up to 1.5 from 1.0

Why is there no support for that on the website? I bought MMF ages ago, like 4-5 years ago, from stores and not online. Is that part of the problem?

Any ideas?

I think there's an 1.0 to 1.2 updater, so do 1.0>1.2 and then 1.2>1.5.

Mmm, there is a 1.0 to 1.2

but apparently no 1.2 to 1.5

I've found another method however, don't worry...

New question, MooClick good? I'm trying to use it atm... and finding it pretty tricky.

Does it demand for both parties to know each other's IP's? Any way around that?

EDIT:
Nvm, I'll make a new topic.

Moo is really easy. No, you don't need to know any IP's. You just connect to a server, sign on to a channel, and start sending messages. There are plenty of articles around. I recommend reading Flava's MooClick articles, you can find them here:

http://www2.create-games.com/article.asp?id=1591
http://www2.create-games.com/article.asp?id=1592
http://www2.create-games.com/article.asp?id=1609

And there's a Moo course over at KlikAcademy, you can sign up for that one:

http://www.klikacademy.com/courses.php

And if you need a server, here's a list of public moo servers:

http://www.3ee.com/moo/servers.htm

Also, use MooGame. It's basically the same as MooClick... Just... Better
It was released as freeware some time ago:

If it is a vitalized extension then u can fake the .mox

Just copy the .mox of another extension and rename it to Dplay.mox(or whatever the name was for the .gox/.cox)

If you try faking a non vitalized ext usually the game freezes and your mouse dissapears.
