could somebody please draw the dogs danglies for me with the nifty oekaki feature so i know what you people are talking about. i bet it means something great.

You can also try Midimaker. I use that and I like the interface a lot. It's easy to pick up, but the only drawback I can find is that it can't create MIDIs larger than like 10KB, or approx. 1 minute's worth of song with all 8 tracks blazing. It's perfect for what I need, nothing Beethoven-ish just cool video game music sounds.
